Automatic Closing of Logs

You may close a selection of Logs automatically. Automatic Close will scan the Referrals in the selected Logs and complete all the Open Referrals which have no Due Date or are Active in your Office. Automatic Close will not complete Active Referrals in Offices you do not have access to. When all the Referrals for the Log are completed the Close Date is entered in the Log. Automatic Close will not close individually selected Batch Members, but any Batch Headers in the selection will be closed along with their associated Batch members.

 To Close a Selection of Logs

  1. Create a selection of Logs to be closed.

    TIP: Use the list option Logs that are Eligible for Completion to find Logs that are ready to be closed.
  2. Click on the Automatic Close button in the Toolbar. The following window will be displayed:


  3. Choose the appropriate selection to close.
  4. Enter the Close Date to be applied.
  5. From the drop-down list, choose how you Batch members updated when closing Batch Headers.
  6. Click Close Logs.
