Clearing the cache in your web browser will sometimes clear problems that are caused by files that have been corrupted during the downloaded. It will also establish a fresh connection to the CLIFF server.
To Re-start Your Web Browser
- Logout from CLIFF.
- Clear your web browser's cache as follows:
- Internet Explorer

- Choose Internet Options... from the Tools menu.
- Click the General Tab if not already there.
- Click Delete Files... in the Temporary Internet Section. Click OK in the confirm dialog.
- Click Delete Cookies... in the Temporary Internet Section. Click OK in the confirm dialog.
- Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
- FireFox on Windows

- Choose Options... from the Tools menu.
- Click the Privacy Tab if not already there.
- Click the Cache Tab if not already there.
- Click Clear Cache Now.
- Click the Cookies Tab.
- Click Clear Cookies Now.
- Click OK to close the Options window.
- FireFox on MacOS

- Choose Preferences... from the firefox menu.
- Click the Privacy Tab if not already there.
- Click the Cache Tab if not already there.
- Click Clear Cache Now.
- Click the Cookies Tab.
- Click Clear Cookies Now.
- Click OK to close the Options window.
- Quit your web browser.
- Re-start your web browser.
- Log in to CLIFF.
