Duplicate Log

Duplicate Log allows you to create a new Log with the same content of the Log you are currently viewing. For example if you have a Log that deals with two subjects, or issues, and should really be split into two Logs for easier tracking, Duplicate Log will help you do that.

To Duplicate a Log

  1. Open the Log you want to duplicate.
  2. Click the icon in the Log Tool Bar. A duplicate Log is created with the following changes:
    • Your currently selected Office is assigned to the Log.
    • Entered by is set to your account.
    • The Due date is recalculated
    • The Closed Date is removed.
    • Batch Members will remain as batch members.
    • The Referrals and attachments of the original Log are not copied over.

    Note: If you have a template selected, template fields will be applied to blank Log fields. The Template will not replace existing Log information.

  3. Make changes as required.
  4. Save Log.
