Many of the data fields in CLIFF, including the user-defined fields, have pop-up lists of data associated with them. These lists are maintained as simple tables of data that may be accessed through the Table Maintenance function. The Turnaround report will analyze a selection of Logs and show the cradle to grave time of the logs (date received to date closed). To create a Turnaround ReportYou may pre-select the Logs you wish to report on or you may use the search facilities in the Turnaround Report.CLIFF presents the Turnaround Report window.

The Count Summary report produces a report with the number of unique occurances of field entries for a group of records. To produce the Count Summary ReportThe following window is displayed.

If your office forwards original documents (such as correspondence) to others for further action, you may want to attach a Referral Slip that provides details about the document as it is logged in CLIFF. To print a referral slipReferral slips are printed from a current selection of Logs or Referrals. If printing a selection of Referrals, CLIFF will print the corresponding Logs. |

Custom reports may be created for Logs, Referrals Sent, and Referrals Received. You may select which data fields to print, the order in which to print them, how they should be sorted, and more. To create a Custom Report in the Log and Referral lists will also display this window. |

Messaging in CLIFF is used for two purposes: The message button in the User Toolbar will change colour depending on the priority of the message(s) received as follows: No new messages. Low Priority. Medium Priority. High Priority.

Batch members are included in normal searches but there are times when you only want to see the Batch Header and its associated members. To Search for a Batch in the CLIFF Toolbar.A window is displayed showing all the Open Batches in your database.

CLIFF makes it easy to generate and store attachments for a Log that can be called up quickly by any office that has access to it. You can attach almost any file to a CLIFF Log by importing it. In addition, CLIFF provides additional support for generating text documents. |

When you search for Logs in CLIFF the resulting selection of Logs is always presented as a list of Logs as shown in the following example:

If you are logging correspondence that has multiple authors, and you want to keep track of each author, you may add the additional authors in the Log. A Log contains multiple Authors has the number of additional authors entered as a count beside the author button To Add Additional Authors to a Log button beside the First Name field. If this is the first additional author the author input screen will be displayed: |
