Table Maintenance

Many of the data fields in CLIFF, including the user-defined fields, have pop-up lists of data associated with them. These lists are maintained as simple tables of data that may be accessed through the Table Maintenance function. The procedure for maintaining the tables of data is similar for all data lists, the only difference is if a list is comprised of single entries, or multiple entries

Turnaround

The Turnaround report will analyze a selection of Logs and show the cradle to grave time of the logs (date received to date closed).

To create a Turnaround Report

You may pre-select the Logs you wish to report on or you may use the search facilities in the Turnaround Report.

  1. Choose Turnaround Report from the Report menu.
CLIFF presents the Turnaround Report window.

      To print a referral slip

Referral slips are printed from a current selection of Logs or Referrals. If printing a selection of Referrals, CLIFF will print the corresponding Logs.

        Custom Reports

Custom reports may be created for Logs, Referrals Sent, and Referrals Received. You may select which data fields to print, the order in which to print them, how they should be sorted, and more.

Messaging in CLIFF is used for two purposes:

          • to let you know when a scheduled task has been completed
          • to send messages to other CLIFF users

The message button in the User Toolbar will change colour depending on the priority of the message(s) received as follows:
            No new messages.
            Low Priority.
            Medium Priority.
            High Priority.
          • Batch Search

Batch members are included in normal searches but there are times when you only want to see the Batch Header and its associated members.

            To Search for a Batch

            1. Click on the Batch Search button in the CLIFF Toolbar.
A window is displayed showing all the Open Batches in your database.

            2. Attachments

CLIFF makes it easy to generate and store attachments for a Log that can be called up quickly by any office that has access to it.

You can attach almost any file to a CLIFF Log by importing it. In addition, CLIFF provides additional support for generating text documents.

              Listing Logs Entered

When you search for Logs in CLIFF the resulting selection of Logs is always presented as a list of Logs as shown in the following example:

Special types of Logs are colour coded as shown below:
